Ordering & Delivery
How long does delivery really take?
Starter tier: live in 24 hours from when you submit your intake form (not from when you order - the clock starts when we have what we need). Rush tier: 12 hours. If you order at 2am and submit intake at 2am, delivery starts then. Extra pages add ~4 hours each to the timeline.
What if I don't have a Google Business Profile?
No problem. Use the manual intake form to give us your business name, services, contact details, hours, and any content you want on the site. Everything else works the same.
What if I don't have a logo or brand colours?
We'll recommend a colour palette that fits your industry and offer three tasteful typography pairings. If you have no logo, we'll design a clean wordmark from your business name at no extra cost.
What if I don't have photos?
We use high-quality stock imagery matched to your industry. If you want your own photos featured (recommended), you can upload them via the intake form.
What's Included
Is there really only one page?
Yes - a professionally designed single-page website with up to 8 sections (hero, about, services, testimonials, FAQ, contact form, etc.). One long, well-designed page performs better than a poorly organised multi-page site for most local businesses. Need more pages? Add them at checkout - $97 per page, up to 3 extras.
Does the site work on mobile?
Every SiteInADay build is mobile-first - designed for phones before desktop, because that's where 70%+ of your customers will see it.
Do I get SEO?
Yes - foundational on-page SEO (title tag, meta description, alt text, local keywords, structured data). It's not the same as an ongoing SEO campaign, but it's what every website needs from day one to be found on Google.
Can I edit the site myself later?
Yes. On handover we send you simple edit access. Or add the Care Plan and we handle edits for you - up to 1 hour of changes per month for $27.
Ownership & Hosting
Do I own the website?
You own your content, your copy, and your brand. The site is hosted on our infrastructure on a subdomain (yourname.sitea.day) for 12 months included. If you add the Custom Domain Setup add-on, we point your own domain to the site. If you cancel the Care Plan or the free hosting period ends and you don't renew, we help you migrate the built site to any host you choose - your build, your ownership, always.
What's the difference between the subdomain and a custom domain?
The subdomain (yourname.sitea.day) is free for 12 months and included in every SiteInADay build. A custom domain (yourbusiness.com.au) is more professional and better for SEO - it's the +$47 add-on plus your own annual domain registration (~$15/year from any registrar).
Pricing & Refunds
Why is this so much cheaper than an agency?
Because we've productised the process. Traditional agencies price for weeks of meetings, revisions, and account managers. We've systemised the parts of a website build that don't require expensive meetings, and we deliver only the parts that genuinely need craft. Same quality, less overhead, priced accordingly.
What if I hate the design?
Every order includes 1 round of revisions - tell us what you don't like and we'll rebuild those sections within 4 hours. If it's still not right after that, we'll offer a partial refund and part as mates.
Full refund policy?
See our refund policy page. Short version: full refund within 24 hours of purchase if you haven't submitted intake yet. Full refund if we miss our 48-hour delivery promise. Once your preview is delivered, we use your included revision to make it right rather than refunding.
The Care Plan
Do I have to buy the Care Plan?
No - it's completely optional. Your SiteInADay build includes 12 months of free hosting on the subdomain. The Care Plan ($27/month) adds unlimited edits (up to 1 hour/month), Google Business Profile management, monthly analytics, and priority support - genuinely useful if you don't want to touch your site yourself, but not required.
Can I cancel the Care Plan?
Yes - cancel any time from your account. No lock-in contract.
